We start September on an exciting note with the launch of the Association of Investment Marketers

Since 2014, the Fund Marketing Network has delivered White Marble Marketing’s investment-focused marketing courses. As our business reached its 5-year milestone this year, the Learning team has been evaluating the division’s offering to ensure that it stays relevant to our growing network’s needs.

The result saw a range of new courses, formats and communications coming into play this year. The feedback from numerous alumni and future attendees also indicated a growing desire to be part of a wider connected network.

The Network has been a key part of our learning and development offering and has extended beyond asset management marketers to include the wider investment industry. It was therefore a natural evolution to broaden the Fund Marketing Network’s proposition into a wider offering, and re-brand of Investment Marketers. This opens the offering to all marketers across the investment landscape, and introduces a broader portfolio of content, podcasts, strategy insights and events.

Our award-winning courses will still be offered under The Association of Investment Marketers (AIM) and currently consist of:

Induction: A one-day course designed as an introduction to marketing in the investment management industry. As well as training and development for those new to investment marketing, the course also provides the chance to share experiences with peers within our industry.

The Academy: Designed to provide a tailored learning, mentoring and networking forum exclusively for marketers within the investment management industry. Taking place over six months, the Academy provides structured training, enhances knowledge and gives a platform for marketers to learn from and share challenges and experiences with peers in the industry.

Future Leaders: The newest course to the Association of Investment Marketing suite, it enables aspiring investment management marketing managers to prepare for future leadership roles. The Future Leaders programme develops your commercial acumen, strategic thinking and planning skills as well as the soft skills to present, influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.

Leadership: A six day course. It is CIM accredited and designed to build confidence, skills and profile in senior marketers. Typically for marketers with 8-10 years’ experience, it will provide technical and soft skills, as well as strategic perspectives for those looking to progress in their leadership role.
