Benjie joined White Marble in 2018 to lead the business development function, and has been Head of Sustainability since 2021.
Experience
Benjie brings business development and sustainability skills from over 14 years in the asset management industry, as well as learnings from an MBA at Strathclyde Business School, the CFA ESG Certificate and the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership. He has previous held roles as European Business Development Director at Asset TV and as a Product Specialist for Newton’s Responsible Investment team.
A passion for sustainable and ESG investing, developed during Benjie’s time working as a product specialist for Newton’s ESG team – assisting with increased demand from clients for help with clear brand and product articulation. He continues to push the development and education of ESG for clients and the wider industry through White Marble’s learning opportunities.
Benjie’s internal focuses are on growing White Marble’s Sustainability practice to meet the evolving needs of client in this rapidly developing space, as well as continuing to develop a scalable, diversified business model across consultancy, learning and measurement. This is achieved through combining a deep understanding of our client needs and requirements with deep marketing knowledge, as well as experience in leading and growing small businesses.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside work Benjie spends his life avoiding summer and skiing as much as possible. He is also a keen climber, football player and generally a fan of the outdoors where he is increasingly passionate about sustainability issues and the environment.
